A.P. Brewer High School alongside the Morgan County Technology Park suspended all operations and cancelled classes following severe weather warnings across the region. Local authorities opted for precautionary closures to ensure student and staff safety as storm systems moved through north Alabama.
District officials announced the shutdown late Sunday evening, giving families and facility workers time to adjust. The Technology Park, which hosts numerous vocational programs and regional technical initiatives, halted all scheduled workshops and adult education classes for the day.
Maintenance crews are currently assessing both campuses for any potential storm damage, power outages, or localized flooding. Normal schedules are expected to resume pending safety inspections and clearance from local emergency management agencies.
