Eufy Security Wall Light Cam S4 Drops by $80 in New Amazon Sale

Home security hardware often doubles as a way to monitor family members, check on pets, or investigate nighttime noises without leaving the comfort of bed. Among the numerous options tested by reviewers, the Eufy Security Wall Light Cam S4 stands out for its blend of illumination and surveillance features, and it is currently seeing a notable price cut on Amazon.

The hardware functions primarily as a modern, motion-activated wall light suitable for driveways, porches, or back gates. Integrated into the fixture is a swiveling 4K camera that delivers a wide and sharp field of view. The device supports local recording with 32 GB of built-in storage, operating entirely free of subscription fees. Its onboard AI detection can differentiate between people, vehicles, and pets without sending data to the cloud. A detachable solar panel sits atop the unit to help maintain battery levels, though manual recharging may still be required occasionally depending on usage and seasonal sunlight.

While the original $250 price tag has been criticized as steep, the current $170 sale price makes the hardware much more competitive. Drawbacks include a limited frame rate of 15 frames per second, which can cause motion blur for fast-moving subjects in low light. Alongside the Wall Light Cam S4, other Eufy models are also discounted, including the dual-lens indoor S350 camera and the C35 2-Cam Kit with an included HomeBase Mini.
