Following a massive debut that made it the BBC's most watched new drama of 2025, This City Is Ours is back for an eight-episode second season. Fans eager to dive back into the gritty Liverpool setting will watch Michael and Diana attempt to leave their criminal past behind, only to find themselves dragged right back into the underworld. With the Phelan firm in complete disarray and a dangerous new threat named Ozzie Thompson stepping up, the upcoming installment brings high stakes and severe consequences for everyone involved. Looking ahead, the BBC has already greenlit a third season to continue the story.
For viewers in the United Kingdom, catching the new season is straightforward. The series airs on the free-to-air television channel BBC One starting Sunday, October 25 at 9pm BST. Alternatively, the entire second season is available to stream online via BBC iPlayer. Accessing the platform requires a valid UK TV licence and an account featuring a valid UK postcode, such as SE1 7PB.
Audiences traveling abroad or living outside the UK can still access these broadcasts by utilizing a Virtual Private Network, commonly known as a VPN. By connecting to a UK server through a reliable VPN service, international viewers can bypass regional restrictions and stream the episodes live or on-demand via BBC iPlayer from anywhere in the world.
