Jamie Campbell Bower is trading the dark corridors of the Upside Down for the sprawling landscapes of Middle-earth. Fresh off his terrifying run as the villainous Vecna on Stranger Things, Bower is set to star in the third season of Amazon Prime Video's high-fantasy epic, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, premiering next week.

Bower steps into the role of Celeborn, a figure well-known to dedicated J.R.R. Tolkien readers and briefly referenced by name during the first season of the streaming adaptation. Within the narrative, Celeborn is the husband of Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark, who has spent centuries missing following the wartime disappearance that also claimed the life of her brother.

Joining a massive, pre-established fantasy series comes with unique pressures, but Bower approached the casting with a focus on respecting the existing ensemble. Having been a fan of the production before his casting, he noted the surreal experience of working alongside co-stars like Charlie Vickers while remaining grounded in servicing the story's established world.

The third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power launches on Prime Video, offering viewers the long-awaited return of Galadriel's husband to the ongoing narrative.
