Apple is gearing up for a busy autumn product schedule, with plans to debut its first-ever touchscreen MacBook Pro alongside a refreshed iPad Mini around October 27th. According to recent reports, this hardware showcase will follow closely behind a separate smart home-focused gathering scheduled for mid-October. The late-October presentation is expected to feature a hybrid format combining an online video broadcast with an in-person media briefing.

The upcoming laptop lineup is rumored to bring significant hardware alterations. Sources indicate that Apple will introduce lighter MacBook Pro models outfitted with vibrant OLED touchscreens and an integrated Dynamic Island interface reminiscent of modern iPhones. Alongside these redesigned variants, the company will reportedly offer traditional chassis options powered by the M6 processor first seen in the latest Mac Mini releases.

In addition to portable computing upgrades, the compact tablet line is also due for a refresh. The updated iPad Mini, which last saw a hardware revision in 2024, will relocate its front-facing camera to the landscape orientation edge. Furthermore, the device is slated to receive a thoroughly revamped internal speaker system to improve audio output for media consumption and video calls.
