Horror fans eager to return to the infamous campgrounds can finally catch the upcoming eight-part prequel series Crystal Lake. Starring Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees, the series explores the tragic backstory of Jason's devoted mother and her relentless pursuit of answers following her son's disappearance. Set a year after the tragedy, the plot follows Pam as she rejects normalcy, holding camp counselors responsible while dark and fatal attacks begin plaguing the surrounding woods.
The eight-episode series debuts across multiple international platforms starting mid-October. US and Canadian viewers can access the premiere on Peacock and Crave respectively on October 15. Australian audiences will find the series streaming on Stan starting October 16, while UK viewers can tune in via Sky Atlantic and NOW beginning October 19.
International travelers and viewers facing regional restrictions can easily access their home streaming subscriptions from abroad by utilizing a virtual private network.
