Jura has expanded its lineup of compact espresso machines with the release of the Jura C9, a bean-to-cup maker designed to brew coffee at an immediate drinking temperature of around 60 degrees Celsius. Serving as a successor to the C8 model, this appliance features an expanded menu capable of producing 17 different drinks straight out of the box.
The appliance introduces a milder brewing style tailored for those who prefer a smoother, lighter taste profile. This method utilizes a smaller dose of coffee grounds and operates at a lower temperature. Users looking for deep customization can adjust up to seven grind sizes, three brewing strength options, and three temperature settings. Adjustments can be managed directly on the machine's 2.8-inch color display or remotely through the accompanying JOE smartphone application.
Despite maintaining a compact footprint measuring 10.2 by 12.8 by 17.2 inches, the C9 houses a full-size brewing unit equipped with Jura's Pulse Extraction Process, designed to optimize extraction time by managing water contact with the grounds. The exterior design mirrors the C8 with a glossy black chassis, a wave-patterned water tank, and a curved front panel styled after the manufacturer's higher-end models.
The Jura C9 is currently available for purchase directly from the manufacturer and via third-party retailers, priced at £895.
