Remote Reaper, an FPV combat drone simulator developed by Ukrainian creator Vladyslav Fomenko in collaboration with military pilots, has officially graduated from Early Access to hit its 1.0 release on Steam. The software is designed to replicate modern battlefield conditions, incorporating authentic challenges like electronic warfare jamming and terrain-based signal interference that directly impact flight control and video feeds during critical moments.

The updated title features complex mechanical and environmental variables, including armored vehicles with distinct vulnerability points and tiered protection screens. Players must carefully analyze targets and select specific payloads such as shaped charges, high-explosive fragmentations, or explosively formed penetrators. Furthermore, the newly expanded aircraft editor enables total customization of 7-inch and 10-inch frames, letting users swap out motors, propellers, cameras, and antennas to test how component weight and thrust alter overall flight endurance.

Beyond solitary combat scenarios involving infantry and airborne threats, the full release introduces dedicated racing courses across three tracks, a comprehensive mission editor, and online co-op support for multiplayer coordination. The platform accommodates a wide range of hardware, supporting professional radio controllers from brands like RadioMaster, DJI, TBS, and BetaFPV alongside standard console gamepads and keyboards. Operating the simulator requires Windows 11, at least 16GB of RAM, and a dedicated graphics card, ensuring precise physics calculations for every weather condition, daylight shift, and signal disruption.
