Rocco, the maker of retro-inspired smart beverage coolers and mini-fridges, has rolled out price cuts on its product lineup alongside the launch of a new, budget-friendly variant. Buyers can currently save $200 on the original Classic model, which is available in colors such as Graphite, Cream, Beige, and Green. Meanwhile, the newly debuted Essential model is seeing a $100 discount during the current promotional period.
The marquee feature of the Rocco lineup remains its intelligent app integration. The hardware utilizes an internal scanning system capable of cataloging its contents, allowing users to track inventory, control internal lighting, and adjust temperatures remotely. Previous testing highlighted the scanner's ability to accurately identify a wide variety of canned beverages, ranging from niche algae-infused drinks to standard sparkling water varieties.
Positioned as a sleeker and more contemporary alternative, The Essential holds 77 cans compared to the Classic's 88-can capacity and launches in three initial colors: Cream, Sage, and Graphite. Despite its smaller frame and lower price point, it houses the same compressor found in the original unit, manufactured by Sub-Zero, capable of cooling down to 34 degrees Fahrenheit. Customers purchasing the original Classic during the sale window also receive a complementary case of Laurel Lattes.
