Unitree is leaning into a much rougher aesthetic with its latest promotional campaign, featuring an unreleased humanoid robot variant known as the H2-X. While the company has previously gained attention for agile quadrupeds and choreographed humanoid routines, this new video trades synchronized dancing for stunts, property damage, and simulated combat.

In the footage, the mannequin-faced H2-X model tackles a variety of exaggerated scenarios. The robot violently beats dents into a sedan fender, hovers around a second vehicle, and forcefully pushes a child mannequin out of the path of a slow-moving car. The display also features martial arts sequences, adding to a history of physical demonstrations that included punching, kicking, and staff-swinging during a recent Spring Festival Gala.

Despite the destructive marketing, Unitree includes strict warnings in the YouTube description and video itself. The company emphasizes an eight-hour battery life while urging viewers to use the machine safely and in a friendly manner. Labeled as extreme testing, the ad explicitly commands audiences not to imitate the stunts and advises humans to maintain a safe distance of at least two to three meters from the hardware.
