Marvel Studios has chosen the head writers for its upcoming espionage thriller series, Zodiac. Industry reports confirm that Amit Cohen and Ron Leshem will lead the writing duties for the project. Leshem is widely recognized as the creator of the original Israeli series Euphoria and served as an executive producer on its HBO adaptation. Alongside Cohen, the duo has previously collaborated on multiple tense thrillers, including Traitor and Hulu's No Man's Land.

While Marvel initially announced the project just weeks ago, plot details remain tightly under wraps. Comic book lore suggests the Zodiac moniker has historically belonged to various criminal organizations, supervillain collectives, and individual adversaries, notably opposing characters like Moon Knight. Current production plans indicate the series will center on two agents tracking superpowered targets globally, setting the stage for a 2027 production start.

The upcoming show follows previous espionage ventures like 2024's Secret Invasion and stands as part of Disney+’s broader content pipeline. Schedule projections place the series premiere following the conclusion of Daredevil: Born Again in March. As development continues, the studio has targeted a release window the year following the commencement of filming.
