Actor Connor Storrie is currently in early negotiations to step into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the main villain opposite Ryan Gosling in the upcoming Ghost Rider feature. Knight Edge Media initially broke the casting development, which was subsequently verified by trade publications. While specific character details remain tightly under wraps, speculation has mounted over whether the role could involve classic adversaries like Mephisto, though actor Sacha Baron Cohen previously stated he had no knowledge of the project's status amid Marvel's strict operational secrecy.

Storrie gained widespread recognition following breakout performances that included a memorable turn in Joker: Folie à Deux and a starring role in HBO Max's hockey romance hit Heated Rivalry. The upcoming comic book adaptation brings together heavy creative hitters behind the camera as well. Director Shawn Levy is attached to helm the project, with Academy Award-winning cinematographer Linus Sandgren slated to capture the feature entirely on film.

Production on the high-profile superhero project is scheduled to commence in New York next year. With a targeted theatrical release date currently set for July 28, 2028, the film marks a massive career milestone for Storrie as he transitions into a major studio blockbuster franchise alongside Hollywood heavyweights.
