Major movie theater chains are preparing for the December premiere of Dune: Part Three by releasing a fresh wave of unconventional collectible popcorn buckets. Building on the viral phenomenon sparked by the previous film's merchandise, AMC, Cinemark, and Regal have revealed their newest line-up of cinematic containers heading to theaters. AMC is leaning directly into fan expectations with multiple iterations, including a Sandworm Thumper Collectible and a Double Sandworm Collectible featuring two worms poking out of the lid. The chain also introduced a collectible cup molded to resemble Edric, the Guild Navigator.

Competitors are taking slightly different artistic routes for the sci-fi epic's conclusion. Cinemark has opted for a copper sandworm bucket detailed with cave drawings along its sides and a thrashing sandworm statue mounted on top. Meanwhile, Regal is bypassing the sandworm designs entirely in favor of a Spacing Guild Navigator bucket, alongside transparent Sands of Arrakis cups and character-themed combo packs featuring Paul Atreides and Chani.

The cottage industry surrounding theatrical popcorn vessels has turned unique merchandise into a massive commodity for cinema chains. While exact pricing and official store listings remain unannounced by theater operators, these collectible items are expected to command around forty dollars based on recent industry trends. Fans hoping to secure one of the limited pieces before scalpers drive up resale values can look for the merchandise to hit theaters alongside the film's release.
