Tenet Platform Launches to Detect Dangerous AI Agent Behavior in Real Time
A new
cybersecurity startup called Tenet has launched a platform designed to detect
and stop dangerous AI agentic behavior in real time. The company's technology
addresses a critical and rapidly growing gap in enterprise security: as
organizations deploy AI agents to automate complex business workflows, they
lack effective tools to monitor whether those agents are behaving as intended
or have been compromised or manipulated.
The platform
analyzes the behavior of AI agents operating within enterprise environments,
establishing baselines for normal agent activity and triggering alerts when
agents exhibit anomalous behavior — such as accessing unauthorized data, making
unexpected external connections, or executing actions inconsistent with their
defined scope.
The launch
comes at a moment of high urgency. Gartner has identified agentic AI oversight
as a top cybersecurity priority for 2026, and security leaders across
industries are grappling with the challenge of governing autonomous systems
that can take consequential actions at machine speed without human review.
Tenet's
platform is positioned alongside a wave of new AI security tools entering the
market in 2026, including Apono's just-in-time access governance technology for
AI agents and various AI Security Posture Management solutions. Analysts expect
the AI security tooling market to grow significantly over the next three years
as agentic AI adoption accelerates across the enterprise.
