Actor Aleks Le is taking his portrayal of Matt Murdock off the screen and into the real world. Following his voice work for the character in NetEase's video game Marvel Rivals last year, Le has taken on multiple creative roles to produce a 13-minute fan film titled Daredevil: Damned. Serving as the star, writer, director, producer, and VFX supervisor, Le brings the iconic comic book hero to life through a project that leans heavily into both comic aesthetics and cinematic action.

The short film captures core elements of the character's universe, featuring intense hallway fight sequences, theological struggles regarding violence and Catholicism, and the trademark psychological taunting of criminals. Visually, the project relies on strong stylistic choices, utilizing shadows and stark red sunglasses to convey Murdock's heightened perception and presence. While drawing stylistic inspiration from established television adaptations and tipping its hat to actors Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio in the credits, the overall visual language takes heavy cues directly from classic comic book panels.

Voice actors frequently engage with their fanbases through convention appearances, cosplay, and audio snippets, but Le's production represents a much larger technical and creative undertaking. Daredevil: Damned showcases how a performer deeply connected to a role can expand upon it independently, offering a glimpse of what a standalone cinematic project or video game trailer for the character might resemble.
