Getac has officially unveiled the B360X and B360X Pro, a pair of fully rugged 14-inch notebooks built around Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Panther Lake processors. Designed for users operating far from reliable connections, the new machines arrive alongside a slate of modern hardware upgrades, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and brighter LumiBond displays.
The standard B360X targets public safety, utilities, and industrial manufacturing, while the B360X Pro is purpose-built for defense and military professionals. Both models swap the outgoing 13.3-inch panels for 14-inch, 1920 by 1200 touchscreens rated at 1,400 nits that remain functional in the rain or with compatible gloves. Despite the larger screen, the chassis maintains a similar footprint to previous generations while preserving strict military-grade durability credentials like MIL-STD-810H and IP66 ratings.
Under the hood, the performance capabilities vary significantly between the two models. The headline-grabbing 180 platform TOPS figure applies exclusively to the B360X equipped with the Core Ultra X7 chip, driven largely by its powerful integrated Arc graphics and a 50 TOPS NPU. Meanwhile, the defense-focused B360X Pro tops out at different processor options with integrated AI ratings closer to 98 TOPS, relying instead on an optional Nvidia RTX PRO 500 graphics card with 6GB of GDDR7 memory to handle heavier workloads.
Both new notebooks meet Microsoft Copilot+ requirements thanks to their upgraded neural processing units, offering sustained, low-power inference capabilities in the field. Optional connectivity features include 4G LTE, 5G Sub-6, and dedicated L1/L5 GPS modules. Getac plans to launch the new B360 series in November 2026, though official pricing details have not yet been disclosed.
