Auto parts manufacturer Baolong Automotive and domestic car giant Chery have officially incorporated a joint venture named Wuhu Baolong Zhigan Technology. Corporate filings indicate the newly established company carries a registered capital of 100 million yuan, signaling a deeper alliance between the two industrial heavyweights as the automotive market pivots toward software-defined vehicles and advanced components.

The scope of operations for the newly minted firm spans automotive electronics, intelligent driving hardware, and smart cockpit components. This partnership leverages Baolong's established manufacturing footprint in sensors and structural parts alongside Chery's massive vehicle production pipeline, creating a streamlined supply chain loop designed to accelerate the deployment of next-generation vehicular tech onto factory floors.

Industry analysts note that traditional automakers are increasingly forming dedicated technology subsidiaries to secure critical components amid fierce domestic price wars and rapid technological shifts. By pooling capital and engineering talent into Wuhu Baolong Zhigan Technology, both companies aim to insulate their supply chains while jointly developing competitive hardware for upcoming vehicle architectures.
